Question by Jarunya Petunia<3: Can i bring my makeup case as a carry on?
i have a small makeup train cases (not the rolling one the hand held) it has mascaras, lipsticks/glosses, eyeshadows, bronzers, liquid foundation, powder, brushes, eyelash curler, tweezers, etc. as well as several large (100+ color) palettes that would be carried in my backpack, can my makeup come with me as a carry on? i do not want to get to the security point and have them throw all my makeup away it’s several hundred dollars worth. i’m more concerned about the mascara, liquid foundation, and glosses? do i have to put them in thhe quart bag with my other liquids?

Answer by Hillary Couto Yes you can put that case in your carry-on but you should put the lip gloss and mascara in the quart size bag just in case

Answer by RoadWarrior Yes you can, but remember that any liquids or gels have to be in 3oz or smaller containers and that you have to put all of them in a one quart size plastic bag and take it out of the case to be xrayed separately when going through security. By the way, the 3oz or smaller containers have to be just that. It’s no good trying to take a 6oz container that is half full (ie 3 oz of liquid), they will confiscate it!
