www.youtube.com MILAN – For his self-titled Roberto Cavalli collection at Spring Fashion Week 2011, Roberto Cavalli dug out his past, though not only in clothing–also in creation, idea, technique, and objectivity. His Spring/Summer collection is filled with two things Cavalli has always been known for–sexiness and fringe. He showcases a woman’s sexual side without using a lot of color, but the body is enhanced in various exotic ways. He says its not enough to see a runway show for 50 seconds, you have to feel, touch, and see each piece close up to truly understand his method. He chose some of the top models to showcase the collection because he believes every model should have the right step to make the fringe move in the right way.
